About James Philbin Income Solutions
Jim Philbin’s affinity for financial planning began 30 years ago when Jim’s grandfather entered a nursing home. He discovered a lack of expertise available to the public when it came to financial matters. Jim decided to part with his general financial planning practice and began to work exclusively with people age 50 and above, educating and assisting them with their particular needs and financial matters. He runs monthly educational workshops across New Jersey on topics such as tax savings, catastrophic illness, investing, and asset protection. His seminars are well known in the area for being both informa¬tional and entertaining. They have been attended by retirees of AT&T, Ortho Diagnostics, Johnson & Johnson, Bell Labs, Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Novartis, and Lucent Technologies. Jim’s experience and expertise has helped hundreds of clients to avoid the common mistakes and pitfalls of financial planning.
His 30 year experience includes working as a financial advisor for American Express, Sun Financial Group, as well as Zoch & Zoch Associates, the financial planning firm that worked closely with Bill Bresnan of WABC radio. Zoch & Zoch sponsored many public seminars featuring Bill Bresnan throughout the 1980’s, including financial planning themed cruises aboard the QE 2 to destinations like Bermuda. He also worked several years for New England Financial where he was appointed the ISPEC (Investment Specialist) position for one of the Branch Offices. Jim’s position was required to train, educate, and advise sales representatives on the application of investment products with their clientele. Today, Jim is the principal owner of Income Solutions Management LLC, which is registered as an Investment Advisor (CR124211) with the New Jersey Bureau of Securities. He is also the principal owner of Income Solutions LLC, which is licensed as an Insurance Producer (1152574) with the N.J. Department of Banking and Insurance. Jim is the sole Investment Advisor Representative (721998) and Individual Insurance Producer (8049661) for both of these respective companies
Jim currently resides in the Middlesex County area with his wife Rosanne, and his two sons, Thomas and Jay. In his limited spare time, Jim enjoys playing golf.
